There is a way to find peace. Seek God first in prayer.
Scripture reminds us to:
"Cast all your cares on him because he cares for you", 1 Peter 5:7
"Not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God", Philippians 4:6-7
"Whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith," Matthew 21:22

At Grace Methodist Metroplex, we believe in the power of prayer!
Join us on the 3rd and 4th Thursday of the week as we pray for community, healing, and so much more. "Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven". James 5:13-15
We will:
Pray without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18)
Pray for peace to come over the world. (1 Timothy 1:7)
Pray for healing the sick. (James 5:14-15)
Pray for strength for those who aren't sick. (3 John 1:2)
Pray for wisdom for those in authority. (1 Timothy 2: 1-2)
Trust in the Lord, trust in His power, trust in His plan and stand firm on His promises.
(Proverbs 3: 5-6)
