“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised” Proverbs 31:29
Greetings Grace,
March has been designated as Women’s History Month. This special recognition of women started in 1987. Women who have struggled, suffered and prevailed on behalf of the advancement of women have been celebrated. The theme this year is “Celebrating women of Character, Courage and Commitment”.
In order to have character, courage and commitment, one must have a relationship with God. I think about the Proverbs 31 Woman. She knows her purpose, and she executed the plan that God has for her. We are reminded in the scripture that she “feared the Lord”. She understood the power of her Father. She knew where her strength came from and she knew that she could not do all that she does without God.
Please take a moment to pray for women all over the world who continue to step outside the box and allow God to use them to do amazing works for Him.
Blessings and Peace

Grace to you,
Lent – The annual season of fasting and preparation for Holy Week and the Easter celebration. We started this season with our Ash Wednesday service, which by all accounts was an absolute blessing. During the Wednesday night message, I encouraged everyone to “withhold nothing” from God, but to give themselves away. “Away to what?” you might ask. I prefer to answer, “Away to whom.” Let’s choose to let this contemplative time be a place for us to give ourselves fully to God and the will and plan of God for our lives.
While preparing for this years’ inaugural 2014 Women’s Conference, I was blessed to see just how many quality speakers and panelist that will grace us with their presence. You really do not want to miss any of the sessions, starting March 21-23rdas I believe God is allowing us to access His wisdom from these various anointed vessels.
Remember the Friday night worship service starts at 7pm and is open to all; men included. We should all watch with humility as God continues to bless us in many ways, and all the while growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.
Remember, we exist to;
Bring people into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ, by making disciples through our words and actions in cooperation with God’s grace.
Let’s continue to stay faithful in cooperating with God as we see His faithfulness towards us!
Stay in Love with God and each other,
Pastor Bates and Rona
